1.3 Download centre

We store the details of people who access our download centre in order to provide download services for them. This information is only used to provide access to the download centre and for other closely related services, such as gaining feedback on the service or conducting surveys.

When people are provided with access to the download centre, their access to resources is time bound. Any personal information stored to enable access is deleted when it is no longer needed.

1.4 Search

Website searches and their results are logged anonymously to improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific information is collected by us or any third party.

1.5 WordPress

To publish online content, we use WordPress.com which is run by Automattic Inc. We use a standard WordPress service to collect anonymous information about users' activity on the site. 2. People who call us

When you call us, we collect Calling Line Identification (CLI) information. We use this information to improve efficiency and effectiveness of call handling services.

3. People who email us

Any email sent to us, including attachments, may be monitored and used by us for security reasons and for monitoring compliance with policy. Email monitoring or blocking software may also be used. You have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send to us is within the bounds of the law.

4. People who use our services

We store the details of people who use our services and use this information to provide the service to them. We may also use this information for related services, such as surveys and feedback.

5. Job applicants, current and former employees

When individuals apply to work for us, we use the information they supply to us to process their application and to monitor the recruitment process. When we want to disclose information to a third party - for example where we want to take up a reference - we will inform the applicant beforehand unless we are prohibited from doing so by law.

Personal information about unsuccessful candidates is held for 12 months after the recruitment process has been completed, after which it is destroyed or deleted. We retain anonymised statistical information about applicants to review our recruitment process, but no individuals are identifiable from that data.

Once a person has taken up employment, we will compile a file relating to their employment. The information contained in this will be kept secure and will only be used for purposes directly relevant to that person’s employment. Once their employment with us has ended, we will retain the file in accordance with our legal obligations and then delete it.

6. Complaints or queries

We try to meet the highest standards when collecting and using personal information. For this reason, we take any complaints we receive about this very seriously. We encourage people to bring it to our attention if they think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. We also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures.

In most situations, we will not disclose personal data without consent. However, when we provide services, we may be required to share information such as names and addresses for shipping or delivery with third parties.
